Noosa council has spent considerable sums of money to provide excellent free BBQ facilities along the river at Gympie terrace, and a popular way to spend an evening. BBQ facilities are also available at Noosa Woods at the end of Hastings Street.
Jogging around the streets is pleasant in the early morning or if you prefer then use the well equipped Noosa Life Health and Fitness Club (07 5473 0111) at 5 Gibson Road which is open to casual visitors. If you are staying in Noosaville, Franks Gym (07 5447 3040) at 14 Lanyana Way is a well established gym set up by the legendary fitness guru Frank Everett in 1979 that welcomes casual visitors. Noosa North Shore Equestrian Centre is close to all the action in Noosa. They conduct rides from 1.5 hours – to several hours including private rides on the beach and in the hinterland from Noosa North Shore Equestrian Centre. Drive or walk up to the Laguna Hill lookout for a
superb view of Noosa and the surrounding country. Follow
to the end of Viewland Drive which is off Noosa Drive

The Noosa Aquatic Centre at Girraween Court operates a free skateboard park that is monitored by video cameras. A small skateboard park is located at Noosa harbour next to the river in Tewantin.
For the adventurous tandem try skydiving where strapped to the instructor you free fall from 12,000 feet in 45 seconds or 65 seconds from 14,000 feet.
