Rock climbing is popular on Mt Tinbeerwah which is close to Noosa. The headlands around the national park also offer places for scrambling amongst the rocks. Rock Climbing is also possible on the Glass House Mountains about an hour south of Noosa. Indoor rock climbing is possible at Noosa Leisure Centre. The rock wall suits all fitness levels and offers 52 different climbs.
Abseiling and Climbing in Glasshouse Mountains

Enjoy magnificent views of the volcanic plugs which rise from the surrounding landscape in this one of South East Queensland's premier climbing and abseiling areas. Join your PACI qualified climbing guide for a hike to the top of the mountain. Here you can rest and enjoy the view at the top while we set some climbs to test your nerve, problem solving and determination. We then train you in abseiling procedures before you make your way down the upper 40m cliffs of Mt Ngungun in the Glasshouse Mountains (253 metres!).
